My husband and I lived in Rexburg while going to school and loved going to the Cocoa Bean for dessert. We are living in Utah and when we saw their was a Cocoa Bean in Provo were so excited. We are living in an area that we think a cupcake cafe would do great. Do you Franchise? I live in Provo and love the cupcakes but really don't like The Cocoa Bean's business practices. Without fail, any time we go to the Provo store, there are only two or three available types of cupcakes, despite having many more than that listed on their menu. It's extremely frustrating, especially when we bring friends to the store for the first time, and most of the flavors are "out." It doesn't matter what time of day it is, they're always somehow "out" of most of the menu cupcakes.
Since I have not found any way to contact management about this novice way of doing business (no website, Facebook, etc.), posting a comment on this blog is my only medium of communication. Therein lies another unhealthy business practice. Bottom line: great cupcakes, bad way of doing business. I hope you guys get it right soon because I can no longer feel good about recommending you to people.

I visited my friend in Provo, and she insisted that we went out with our friends to The Cocoa Bean while I was there. I absolutely loved it. The employees were so nice, and the cupcakes and drinks were tasty! Have you guys considered opening anywhere else? Perhaps Cedar City or St. George? That would be awesome. So true! After having been spoiled by the Cocoa bean for the last 4 years, there's no way I can settle for any place else!
